Totally! Microgreens don't need much light. Just put your kit near a window or in a room with regular ceiling lighting.
No, you're eating up the plant, so there's nothing left to grow! Compost the used Seed Quilt in your green bin and plant a new one.
All seeds are non-GMO, and most options are organic.
Our Seed Quilts are made of materials designed for food and agricultural use. All materials are compostable in your green food and yard waste bin. Materials include coconut fiber, felt, soy wax paper, and seeds.
Our grow tray is recyclable and made from #5 food safe BPA free polypropylene. We also offer a Ceramic tray.

OK product, but I bought this expecting that seed quilts still came with nice color cardboard labels. Now that they�re printed in b&w on the thin paper wrapper, they�re hard to read and not worth displaying.
I like this better than using "post it" notes on my shelves . Simply cut around the name and description on the packaging and write the date - first when you water them and write the date when you peel the paper off.... it's a way better system than what I was doing.

The reason I ordered this was to put in the cute labels like in the photo! I�m so disappointed to cut out flimsy cheap paper labels. Not what I was expecting at all from this brand I love.
