Instant Pot Micro Mustard Pilaf

Sometimes we just need to keep it simple. When time is short and you need a great base for your meal, give this brown rice pilaf recipe a try.ย 


Instant Pot Micro Mustard Pilaf_HamamaRecipes_2.28.20

Ingredients:

-ย 2 tablespoons butter
-ย 4 ounces sliced mixed mushrooms
-ย 1 1/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
-ย 1 cup short-grain brown rice
-ย 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- HAMAMA Hot Wasabi Mustard microgreens (1/2 Seed Quilt)
- 1/4 cup Peanut Butter (Optional)

Instructions:

ย 

  1. Set an Instant Pot to sautรฉ on high.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 4 ounces sliced mixed mushrooms; cook 6 to 8 minutes. Season with kosher salt and pepper.
  3. Add 1 1/4 cups chicken broth, 1 cup short-grain brown rice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  4. Put on and lock the lid. Set to pressure cook on high for 25 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally.
  5. Stir in 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onion. Mix in 1/4 cup of peanut butter and garnish with HAMAMA Hot Wasabi Mustard microgreens.
