When cooked, they turn into a rich golden brown color. The flavor is meaty, somewhat nutty and full of umami. When cooked, the flavor intensifies. Bonus tip:
Place your mushroom kit in a Hamama Grow Tray or saucer to catch any water that runs off the block. A few spritzes per day is all that you need; you don’t have to fully saturate the block each time.

It could be the room temperature, the colder the room the slower they grow. Ideal room temperature is 70-72 degrees.
The mushrooms may need air flow and to be placed in an open room away from direct sunlight.
When you see the edges of the mushrooms start to crack and split. We recommend harvesting sooner than later as the mushrooms will stay fresher in the fridge after harvesting for 4-5 days.
It will grow twice. The second harvest is not as big as the first harvest.
