Makes: 6-8 Servings

I love a good slow cooked stew and this one is for the books! Simply place all of your ingredients into a large pot or your crockpot and let cook into the most amazing meal! The beef and bone marrow give this stew intense flavor and you can never go wrong with too many veggies! This meal is great for those cold fall and winter days where you want to just cozy up and warm your belly!

Ingredients:

  • 2 1b beef
  • 1 large bone marrow
  • 4-6 garlic cloves (chopped) or Hamama Garlic Greens, chopped
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 14oz Guinness beer
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 14.5oz can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 3 cups water
  • 4-6 carrots (chopped)
  • 2-4 celery (chopped)
  • 3-4 large potatoes (chopped)
  • 1 bunch dino kale (chopped)
  • 1 bunch cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Braggs Amino Acids

Garnish:

  • Hamama microgreens of your choice
  • Hot sauce to add a little extra flavor
  • Braggs Amino Acids
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare your vegetables, greens and herbs.

2. Add your beef and bone marrow to a large pot.

3. Add all of your other ingredients except the 2 tbsp flour and ¼ cup water.

4. Turn your stove on to medium high, cover and let it cook until it starts to boil.

5. When it starts to boil, turn the heat down to low and let it cook overnight. You can also use your crockpot if you have one.

6. Check in on your stew from time to time, stirring on occasion to make sure everything is getting cooked well. You can add in the flour and water ratio to thicken your stew as well after it has cooked down for a while.

7. When your stew has cooked and smells absolutely amazing, pour yourself a bowl, add some garnishes like microgreens, a little extra braggs amino acids, some hot sauce and salt and pepper to taste! This meal is great for those cold fall and winter nights; you will love it!
