Reboot with this homemade beet juice! This juice is energizing, refreshing, antioxidant-rich and immune-boosting. It’s loaded with fresh beets, superfood microgreens, lemon, carrots, celery & ginger. The earthiness of the beets is offset by the natural sweetness of the apple. This is the health-improving drink you need!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound beets, washed with the greens removed and the ends cut off (about 5 medium beets)
  • 1 apple
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1-2 carrots
  • 1 1-inch knob of fresh ginger (more or less to taste)
  • 1 refreshing cabbage Seed Quilt (can sub cilantro or kale)
  • 1 Sweet Wheatgrass Seed Quilt

Instructions:

  1. Wash the produce and cut your fruits and veggies into smaller pieces that fit inside the juicer chute if needed. Remove the skin from the lemon and the ginger. 
  2. Juice everything, alternating harder and softer textured pieces to aid in the juicing process.
  3. Mix well, taste & adjust ingredients to your liking! (i.e. more lemon for tartness, fruit for sweetness, ginger for a zip, etc). 
  4. Drink immediately for the highest nutritional value! Leftovers can be stored in a mason jar in the fridge but should be consumed within 2-3 days (otherwise you can freeze it in ice cube trays f for adding to smoothies!)
