What’s sweet, tangy and crunchy all at once? This recipe for Broccoli Power Slaw! Change up your salad routine and try this on for lunch or as a side to your main dish. Broccoli never used to be a fav of mine as a child - but now I can’t get enough of it! Did you know that just one cup of raw broccoli contains only 25 calories? And broccoli is full of fiber so it helps promote healthy digestion and feeds beneficial bacteria which can boost your mood, strengthen immunity and help to fight inflammation. That’s one power-packed crunchy cruciferous!



  • 3 cups broccoli florets, chopped small
  • ½ small red onion, diced
  • 1 bag broccoli slaw
  • 2 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Optional: roasted pepitas for added crunch
  • Optional: dried cranberries for sweetening
  • The star of the show, of course, Hamama Broccoli Microgreens!



    1. Chop the broccoli florets into small pieces. I like to remove the stems for this dish.
    2. Dice ½ small red onion - approximately ½ cup.
    3. Empty the bag of broccoli slaw into a large mixing bowl.
    4. Add in your broccoli florets, red onion, 2 tablespoons of vegan mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.
    5. Stir until well-combined.
    6. Optional: Sprinkle on roasted pepitas and dried cranberries.
    7. Garnish with Hamama Broccoli Microgreens!
