Caprese Salad with Peppery Arugula Microgreens

This versatile salad is easy to make and tossed with a simple delicious olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing! It's great for an everyday salad, or on the go! 10 minutes is all it takes and goes great with your new Peppery Arugula Microgreens!


  • 2 Large heirloom tomatoes
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese, to taste
  • Hamama olive oil
  • Hamama balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cups of your choice of greens
  • Hamama Peppery Arugula Microgreens
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste


  1. Place your choice of greens into a salad bowl. A spring mix works great but choose your favorite!
  2. Chop your heirloom tomatoes into large pieces, pat dry on paper towel, then add to the bowl.  
  3. Dice your fresh mozzarella cheese into bite sized pieces! You can also use mozzarella pearls.
  4. Add Peppery Arugula Microgreens to your liking - I added about half a Seed Quilt for that perfect peppery bite!

5. For the dressing, mix equal parts balsamic vinegar with olive oil and a pinch of salt and black pepper.

6. Dress the salad bowl and enjoy it with some toasted artisan bread (or add croutons!) for a bit of crunch.
